Hi ! My name is Cassidy Mills , I am born and raised in Shreveport , Louisiana. I am 24 years old. I don’t have any kids. I love to travel and to see new places. Disney World is my favorite place. I was a nanny for two sweet little girls for 5 years . I started helping at Buddies during the summer sessions , when I was 12 years old. I was a full time sub before I become a teacher. This is my fourth year being a teacher and I can’t wait for another fun year.

Hi, I’m Katelyn Costello. I have a fiancée and I am a mother of 2 boys. I have been with the church for almost 4 years working in the nursery and almost a year with buddies! My hobbies are playing with my kids, I like to read, and I do color by number app on my phone or color in a coloring book.

Ms. Donna and Ms. Dawn are the amazing Room 2 teachers! We love them so much
My name is Donna Keene (Nonna). I am married to my husband of 47 years. We have 4 children and 5 granddaughters. I left my job of 14 years as a teachers aid when my first grandaughter was born and did in home childcare for her and several teachers children.
I started working at Buddies when my second grandaughter the toddler class and have continued off and on for 14 years. In my spare time I love getting together with family. I look forward to another year of taking care of your babies.

Hello. My name is Dawn Buzzanca. My husband and I have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. I’ve been a buddies teacher for 20+ years. My children and grandchildren all have been a buddy through the years. I love this program, and look forward to another wonderful year with your children!

Hi! I'm Keela Anthony and this is my first year teaching with Buddies.
My hobbies are playing softball, hanging out with family and friends and watching movies. I'll be a freshman in college this year and I'm majoring in criminal justice. I can't wait to spend time with your kids this year!

Hi! I’m Tanya Self I worked at Buddies in 2000, when my son Cory attended Shreve Island Elementary where I was active in the PTA and also volunteered. I became a Para-Professional in a significant disabilities classroom until I retired in June 2021. I have a German Shepard, Ella, who is 4 years old and just a little spoiled. My son Cory and Kyla his forever will be marrying August 27,2022. My hobbies are gardening, playing pickleball, kayaking, hunting and fishing with my husband Wayne and being with friends and family.

Next up is our fabulous Ms. Amanda!

I taught 4 year old's in North Carolina for 15 years. I joined Broadmoor Methodist in the spring in the baby room. I’m loving getting to love on the little ones and I’m looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hi. My name is Sharon Goldman. I was born and raised in Shreveport Louisiana. My husband and I have been married for 54 years. We have two daughters and five grandchildren. I first became involved with Buddies when my youngest grandson attended here over 10 years ago. While he was here, I got to know the teachers and became very familiar with the curriculum. During that time, I was asked to be a substitute teacher. In 2013 I took the full-time position in the nursery and have worked there ever since. Being with the children brings lots of excitement. I love getting to watch them learn and grow. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to teach and love your children.

With our new year at Buddies fast approaching, I wanted to take the time to introduce our teachers to everyone. Every day this week there will be posts highlighting two different teachers!
We're all looking forward to meeting you in person at our teacher meet and greet next Thursday, September 1st ♥️

There was an email sent out on Tuesday that had information about our Teacher Meet and Greet along with other important information. If for some reason you did not receive the email, please let me know!

We are looking for one more teacher to join our staff! Buddies is the perfect place for someone looking for a part time position. Our teachers come from all backgrounds such as moms working while their own kids are in school, students in between college classes, and moms wanting to work while their own children enjoy the perks of our program ❤️

January is for all things winter! We practiced our colors by matching some mittens, made sensory bottles, played in the “snow” and our favorite, bubbles!

It’s cold outside, but our friends in Room 3 stayed warm with some yummy hot chocolate ❄️
