>Original name of Piano was Pianofote. Its an Italian name, 'Forte' means Loud and 'Piano' means Quite.

>Needless to say Piano is the most important instrument of Western Classical Music.

> Almost All great Composers of all time were Proficient Pianists too.

> is consider as the greatest Pianist of all time, and is consider as the greatest Pianist of 20th Century.

>Piano has actually evoluted from Harpsichord and Clavichord.

> Bartolomeo Cristofori invented Piano in 1700 in Italy.

>Manufacturer of Piano took it to for approval, but Bach initially rejected it, saying that this instrument is not loud enough, but later when Piano started getting popularity Bach took the dealership of it.

>The main credit of Popularising Piano goes to none other than Mozart.

> Earlier Piano was 5.5 Octaves, composers like Mozart played those 5.5 octave throughout their life. In 1810 Piano manufacturers invented 7.5 Octaves Piano. And none other that Beethoven approved this revolution in Piano.

We learn about respecting others performance, music, etc. I just love when my students speak up and compliment each other. And of course we have fun!
