The Sewanee Angel Capital is a group of dedicated students that are eager to learn and participate in the angel investing process. An angel fund provides capital for a business start-up, usually in exchange for convertible debt or ownership equity or loan repayment. The club strives to teach students how to evaluate start-up companies through due diligence reports, CEO presentations, and personal research.

Good Morning Sewanee Angel Investors!
At our last meeting, the members started a discussion about the new start-up company, Feetz. We are meeting TODAY, February 17th at 5:30 p.m. in the Torian Room. The club will look at parts of the presentation video, read through the due diligence report and have an open discussion about the company.
This is an especially important meeting, since we will officially announce the new executive members of the Sewanee Angel Fund and the Student Investment Club. SIC has been canceled, but we are still on.
We will serve PIZZA following the meeting at 6:30pm.
We will have our next meeting TODAY at 5:30 p.m. in the Torian Room of the Library. Please come to the meeting to hear more about the openings for the Angel Fund leadership positions. All officer applications are due to Sam Taussig by Feb. 6th for the Angel Fund.
