I'm with the Tennessee State Parks Conservancy and we'd love to invite you and your families to the grand opening of the brand new Storybook Trail at Pickwick Landing State Park this Saturday, September 18th at 10:00am.

September is National Literacy Month - what better way to celebrate than hiking this new trail with a Tennessee State Parks Ranger!

I paid for my son’s books on May 29th so that he could take classes throughout the summer. I am still waiting on books, a phone call, and something that has his grades! I have no idea what his grades are! I sent my son’s books back first class/signature required nd well within the monthly deadline. The girl who answers the phones on Friday’s has told me that “Whitney” said he will call me back each week, it’s been almost a month and I still have not even received a call or any type of correspondence! I would like to think that a Christian based school would be held to a higher integrity, but something is not right here. It’s unacceptable and it appears that I will need to take my concern to a state-level entity and I will proceed with that on Monday, 6/22/20.

This first month of homeschooling has been awful! No instructions to teach by or answer keys?? I've looked up the curriculum online and the books are $3.50 a piece. What is the $85/mnth for? How do parents teach without a teaching guide? There's no way I remember this stuff from 20 yrs ago. I can't help but feel like I've missed something.

New Beginnings has been the biggest blessing to Chance and I. Mary and Whitney will help you anyway they can. Yes and Jesus is welcomed there and you can guide your child down the right path here. My Son loves his school and we are looking so forward to Gradution 2017. My son has done very well and they also let you how proud they are of your child. New Beginnings and the staff are Awesome and I'm so proud that God has blessed us with the school and staff. One more thing! My son has grown so much closer to God in the last year. I can't wait for Chance to continue to further his education more with them after he graduates. Don't hesitate if you are thinking of putting your child in home school bc they are truly great with their school.

We are a full service school approved by the state of Tennessee. We use the Accelerated Christian Ed We are New Beginnings Homeschool Christian Academy. NO! Yes!

We offer
the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum which is K-12. To
begin your homeschool adventure all you have to do is fill out
a simple registration form, which you can find in our office, then
we will take care

of the rest. The student will receive workbooks
from each subject according to the Childs academic needs. The
student will turn in each set of workbooks on a monthly basis
to our office where our staff will grade the workbooks and
enter the grades into the student management system. At any
time the parent/guardian can request and receive a copy of the
students progress report. Our official school year begins on August 1st
annually and concludes on May 22nd annually. One of the
joys of homeschooling is that a student may enroll anytime
through out the year, as long as they are in good standing with
the previous school. Each year we have a full graduation
ceremony including guest speakers, caps & gowns, valedictorian,
honors students and every parents favorite walking across
a stage and receiving that diploma. Is there an age limit? If you never completed school we can help you get that diploma. With homeschooling you are free to chose when you complete
your workbooks, as long as they are completed and turned in
monthly. Can you homeschool if you already have a G.E.D.? In fact many jobs in society today will not accept the G.E.D. and require a diploma. with our competitive tuition your student
can get the quality and joyful education they deserve. If you

Sign up fee - $85.00
Monthly Tuition - $85.00
Annual Tuition - $935.00
sign up fee is due at sign up before student will be accepted. If the monthly payment plan is elected $170.00 will be due at
sign up which is sign up fee and first months tuition payment. All fees must be paid in full before student can graduate, progress
to the next grade level or transcripts released to another school. We follow all Board of Education rules and regulations regarding
truancy and grade reporting. After 30 days of not completing
school work or non payment of tuition a letter is sent to the
parent/guardian informing them of the situation. After 60 days
of not completing school work or non payment of tuition
the student and guardian will be turned into the Board of
Education that governs the city the student resides in.

The warehouse is already backing up on book orders. Make sure to enroll asap if you want to start in August. If you wait until August to enroll, it may be September before you get to start! Enrolling in July, we can not guarantee your books by the first of August, but it will not be as late as if you enroll in August. If you enroll in July, you can split the enrollment and first month up. That way you don't have so much to pay at once. We are still in our summer hours. Thursdays and Fridays only 9am-4pm. We open back full time August 1st! We hope everyone is enjoying their summer break! :)

Don't forget today is the last day to enroll to have your books guaranteed to be here by the first of August! You can still enroll in July but we can not guarantee them to be here on time. Enrolling early, helps break up the payment fee and first months tuition. In August, it will be due together, if not already done. We hope everyone is enjoying their summer!! ☀️:)

End of the year letters have been mailed out. Has our summer hours etc* on it. Be sure to check for it. Also don't forget we have the remind app. You will get all notifications, closings quickly. It will come as text, email, and or the app depending on how you choose. We mailed out letters about that around the beginning of the year. Lots of people say they didn't see it. Next week November 21-25th is Thanksgiving break. We will not be in the office. If you need your books before the break, please come in by this Friday, November 18th. You can always pay over the phone and have them mailed if you can't come in the office. Also, pictures will be Thursday and Friday, December 1st and 2nd. If you would like a school portrait, please make an appt this week. It will be $10 for the photo and copyrights to it. They can be printed anywhere you choose and as many as you like. Money will be due the day of pictures for that. We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving ❤️

The school board has shut all hardin county schools down today and tomorrow due to sickness. We will be back open Monday. If you have been exposed to covid, the flu, RSV or anything contagious please do NOT come into the office. We have other options to get your books. They can be mailed or you can call the office and we can place your books outside for you! Several people came in yesterday saying they had or someone in their home had the flu and they had fever. Please do NOT do this. If we get sick, we have to shut down and this effects everyone. Let's all work together on keeping everyone from sickness. Thank you all and sorry for the inconvenience.

We have little gift bags made up for Halloween. There is a flashlight in there for the kids to use trick or treating. Bring your kiddos this week 430 Wayne rd. Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm and get one. While supplies last. When we run out, we will not have anymore. They do not have to be dressed up in their costume to get one. They do not have to be enrolled with us either, if you have any kids that want one but are not enrolled.
