Spark Ceramics is a one-of-a-kind ceramic art program for adults and children that combines expert instruction, hands-on workshops and unique environments to create art. Spark is the joint endeavors of Deb Caperton and Deborah Gutof who are San Francisco artists, parents and teachers.

The Hillcrest Healing Project is now a permanent installation at the Hillcrest Elementary for all students, teachers and staff to help feel connected to their community and each other always. Thanks to all who made this possible!

Thank you Glassdoor design team! They came to Spark Ceramics Studio for a fun, relaxing and creative afternoon Clay Play Workshop! They left energized and so did we! I hope they come back soon!
Last Sat. we had fantastic group in for a custom hybrid workshop. The group from WTBR aka Where the Buffalo Roam made buffalo chia pets! Yes! They did it with laughter and panache, literally took them bulls by the horns! The remote crew did em at home with instruction on the screen, we can't wait to unpack these babies when they arrive. Thanks Tim and the crew!

Another fabulous workshop with a team of engineers fom Insitro. Everyone laughed, learned something and felt their creativity bubbling out from head through fingers. We hope these guys come back again!

And then there was COLOR! It was a pleasure working with Compass Design Team last month. We had an intimate outdoor teambuilding session in our lovely courtyard space. We made some nature inspired objects and played some games to learn cermamic skills.

Spark Ceramics is out and about! Yesterday's family art in the park workshop was lovely, relaxed and fun! Thanks to Erica and her very creative family, they made planters and a collaborative wind chime. Look for their work as we process it at Spark studio. We are popping up in outdoor spaces and at your home on zoom. Next week we will roll out our art kits with video and instructional support. Stay well- stay safe!
