Cupping before deep tissue and neuromuscular massage for my client . She works out , rides the bike and sits a lot. This causes many aches and pains. Her scapula and hip were elevated by an inch on the right side before we started , and as a result she was feeling pain in her left , Referall pain which is making her left side trying to compensate . She felt better afterwards ; Along with corrective exercises , we keep her moving freely . Can’t imagine how much pain she would be in if she didn’t take these self care measures , and I hope you do too. :) hai

Little sled workout for base, rotational movement and working and stabilizing the core with posture . We usually pair these up with corrective exercise intrensic core stabilization exercises , so the spine will be more stable which will allow is more ease to move in various planes

Trying to get him to move with alignment and balance, getting his core and hips engaged . Also, looking for compensations in his movement so I know what is working harder then needs to and I can work on doing deep tissue massage and stretching plus strengthening

Jiu Jitsu has an effect on the motion of the hip joint . Constant guard retention and sweeps tighten muscles around the hips, which if left untreated will cause trigger points and pain elsewhere . Often I hear of pain in the lower back , this pain could coming from overly tight hamstrings , Iliacus and Psoas . If you have a sedentary job make sure to work these areas out after training and perform chair stretches at your desk after and before Jiu Jitsu training . Hai
