Great Harvest Community Center

The Great Harvest Community Center (GHCC) Digital Literacy Open House event was a huge success thanks to a group of wonderful partners and supporters. This was an opportunity to see what GHCC does through its Home Kunnect Digital Literacy program (virtual & in-person), which awards FREE HP Chromebooks to San Bernardino County residents (18+) that qualify under any public assistance program (per ACP Guidelines). GHCC was honored to share with those in attendance, the passion and expertise that we serve the Inland Empire with. Our Home Kunnect Program was awarded 30 CASF regional grants by the California Public Utilities Commission for 2023-25, serving the San Bernardino County School System. GHCC needs the support of every one of your organizations to make this project an overall success. There will hopefully be future project/program news that GHCC will be sharing with you all, soon.

This event was a crucial building block to acknowledge our current partners, like the San Bernardino City Unified School District (Sandra Valdez), and to look towards future project partnerships for those that were new acquaintances to GHCC.

There is not enough thanks to go around, in such a short email. But your support and attention to this fundamental project is tremendously appreciated. Special thanks to San Bernardino Community College District (Deanna Krehbiel & Shalita Tillman) for partnering with GHCC, by providing this great workshop site (which will serve as the central HUB for the Home Kunnect Program 2023-25). GHCC is also grateful for the support of Pete Aguilar - US Congressman (Curt Lewis), Joe Baca - San Bernardino County Supervisor, Benjamin Lopez – IEEP, Matt Knox - San Bernardino County ARPA Dept., Sandra Cuellar - Spectrum, and Julio Figueroa - AT&T, for supporting our organization within San Bernardino County.

This past Saturday's Community Technology Gathering was awesome, if you missed it. GHCC awarded 25 Chromebooks for our Home Kunnect Digital Literacy Program. Special thanks to San Bernardino County Supervisor Joe Baca, U. S.
