*seeking advice about affordable housing for healthcare students who intern out of state*
Hello! I am in the school of health professions at UTHSCSA for my master’s in communication sciences and disorders. I am considering traveling to another state for a semester of clinical placements, but my main concern is affording a place to live for less than half a year. Is there anyone who has been through this? I am minimalistic and don’t need anything extravagant.

Let's welcome this morning’s graduate feature, Cat Lira, from our UT Health San Antonio School of Health Professions!

“My Name is Cat Lira and I am part of the Physical Therapy graduating class of 2021! I chose to pursue physical therapy so that I may make a positive difference in the quality of life for my patients. I plan on pursuing travel therapy to explore elsewhere and grow as a clinician and person. Throughout PT school I have enjoyed being a dog-mom and going out to two-step with my friends.”

Congratulations, Cat!
