Episode 039 of the Shred Shack Podcast, entitled "Lost in America," is now available for listening on iTunes and Mixcloud. In this installment of the Shred Shack Podcast, your favorite heavy metal caballeros make up for lost time after skipping a week in podcasting by recording a three hour show. After starting things off with some old business regarding Slipknot, Led Zeppelin and AC/DC, we take a look at the latest releases from Wicked Maraya, Khanus, Vektor, POLAR., DARKEND, DevilDriver, Destruction, Toseland, Hatebreed, Seas of Wake, Kvelertak, Grand Magus and Formless. A ton of general, recording, touring and charting news is reviewed for several artists, with a particularly lengthly touring discussion. Pat and Reece from the New York side of things offer up the Top Ten Heavy Metal Songs About Space. For this week's Social Media Highlight segment, we give brief updates on Wasteland Rocks, Our World Below? and Apothica before diving into MATA - Project. From there, we discuss our experience seeing Tim Ripper Owens "Official Page" performing a mostly acoustic set at the The Rock Box, backed and followed by San Antonio's own Jessikill. We follow that up with a discussion about our experience catching Jessikill a second time along with Forever Town, Seance and Worst Case Scenario. Our discussion for the week doubles as our Top Albums for the month of April 2016 as we further discuss our feelings on the latest from Otep, Deftones, Zakk Wylde, Vision of Atlantis, Rob Zombie, Darkestrah, SIG:AR:TYR and Aborted.

In this installment of the Shred Shack Podcast, the Brothers Mac cover a little more old news on the AC/DC and Guns 'n' Roses fronts before taking a look at new releases from Nemesea, Painted Wives and WRONG. General, recording, touring and charting news is discussed for various artists. Pat and Reece from the NY side of things discuss their own experience seeing Amon Amarth, Entombed A.D. and Exmortus and offer up a new Top 10 list: the Top 10 Songs About Heavy Metal. Chris covers DEgITx for this week's Social Media Highlight before closing out the show with a brief review and discussion of a recent editorial from Metal Injection about the abundance of metal available to us now.

Episode 036 of the Shred Shack Podcast, entitled "A Second Coming," is now available for listening. This episode marks our very first new episode available on iTunes, so be sure to search for and subscribe to us while we get older episodes up. In this content-packed installment, your favorite heavy metal caballeros discuss even more Guns N Roses business before taking a look at the latest from Otep and Surgical M**h Machine. General, recording, touring and charting news is discussed for various artists with some info about changes in the way album sales are counted. Chris and Pete discuss their experience catching Exmortus, Entombed A.D. and Amon Amarth earlier in the week before Dan discusses his experience catching Powerman5000 on Thursday and Green Jelly on Friday. Pat and Reece from the NY side of things offer up a new Top 10 list in the form of the Top 10 Heavy Metal Mascots as well as some snippets of their interview with Next To None. I, Apollo is covered in this week's Social Media Highlight, which also includes the TX side of the Shred Shack getting their first band interview in. After all of that, we close out the show with a brief discussion about who ought to be considered for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame soon considering the frequent snubbing of some and the easy access of others.
