Nutrition Matters π₯π«π
Today, our team Nutritionist and Registered Dietitian, KN Nutrition, shared some special tips and insights in an email to our coached athletes. This was inspired by her wealth of knowledge and some discussions our coaching team has been having about athletes and their fueling habits. A few of her simple but important tips are:
1οΈβ£ Recovery days are not days to cut back on nutrition.
2οΈβ£ If weight loss is a goal, it should happen away from training.
3οΈβ£ Women should never train fasted.
Of course there is more but the main takeaway for athletes is that you should not be afraid to eat!

Meet our September , Tracy Schuleman! Tracy was integral in helping many of our team members join the Jewish Community Center (JCC) during 2020 when they were one of the only pools open in San Antonio. Our swim practices have flourished at the JCC, where Tracy is Director of Recreation & Fitness Services.
At 66, Tracy also has the wonderful honor of being Team Paragon's most wise and seasoned athlete. She did her first triathlon 37 years ago!
