Lenay Vale Spiritual Life Coach

I coach people to tune in to the thoughts & ideas of God and to see from a higher perspective in order to self actualize and live life to the fullest.

I'll never forget when God said to me, "Your life is what YOU make it." There's so much freedom and responsibility within that invitation. I am not a victim of my circumstances, weaknesses, the opinions and actions of others, my heritage nor my past. I have the power to partner with God and create the life I desire. I believe that the "glory of God is man FULLY alive. "(St Irenaeus) I believe that you are empowered by Him to live a life of purpose, joy and deep fulfillment. I don't believe that you ought to exhaust or forfeit yourself to get there. I believe it's attained through communion with God's Spirit. I have taught others to tune in to this voice for nearly a decade, and it's a continual joy. In doing so, we discover the beauty within us, learn to listen to the voice of our own hearts, and grow in confidence to go after our dreams. Together, we encounter the radical love of God in tangible ways, and we break the deep subconscious fears and harmful thought patterns that hold us back. This puts you on the path to reaching your fullest potential. Join me if you're ready to partner with God's Spirit, to be loved for who you are, to be empowered become the best version of yourself, and to live your life to the fullest.

I love Ezekiel 37's story about the Valley of Dry Bones where God asks Ezekiel a question, "Can these bones live?" It is one of the most penetrating questions in the Bible. The Lord is basically saying, "Ezekiel, what do you think; because what you think is going to determine what I can do."

God has to partner with someone who has hope (someone who is unreasonably optimistic) to accomplish His will. The question is not how dry the bones are, but whether someone has renewed their minds enough to believe the bones can live. One of the greatest callings we have is to believe and speak to the dry bones that they shall live. "God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did" (Romans 4:17).” Steve Backlund

25 Coronavirus Declarations

25 Coronavirus Declarations by Igniting Hope Ministries

Declarations are faith statements about what is true regardless of our current experience. The following verses illustrate our need to stay in faith as we pray, and the declarations below will help us to do just that.

“Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you” (Mark 11:24).

“This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him” (1 John 5:14-15).

I will thrive no matter what happens. (Philippians 4:11-13)

My God is meeting all my emotional needs, financial needs, health needs, protection needs, relational needs, strength needs, wisdom needs, and every other need I have. (Philippians 4:19)

Because of my covenant with God, the coronavirus will not affect me or my loved ones. (Psalm 91)

No weapon formed against me will prosper. (Isaiah 54:17)

I know what I am supposed to do and what I am not to do at this time. (James 1:5)

I supernaturally bring physical healing to others. (Mark 16:17)

God’s people are humbling themselves, praying, and turning from their wicked ways, and our land is being healed as a result. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

My prayers for our local and national leaders are bringing breakthrough, wisdom, and peace. (1 Timothy 2:1-4)

The name of Jesus is greater than the name of coronavirus. (Philippians 2:9)

I do not worry about anything but in everything through prayer and thanksgiving, I possess the peace of God which guards my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)

My prayers are positively influencing my nation concerning the coronavirus. (James 5:17-18)

I am now incredibly arising and shining with love and solutions for the world around me. (Isaiah 60:1)

No matter what happens, I will be ok. (Romans 8:28)

Because of God’s promises, I am participating
right now in the divine nature and escaping the corruption that is in the world. (2 Peter 1:4)

My love and service to others at this time is a powerful expression of God’s love to everyone I meet. (I Corinthians 13)

Every time I speak to the mountain of coronavirus to be removed, it decreases dramatically. (Mark 11:23)

In every situation I face, there is always a solution. (I Corinthians 10:13)

This season is an hour of great opportunity, supernatural provision, and breakthrough for me and those I am close to. (2 Kings 4:1-7)

God is comforting, strengthening, healing, and providing for those who have been negatively impacted by the coronavirus. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)

I am experiencing increased levels of intimacy with the Lord at this time. (Philippians 3:8)

I am unaffected by the spirit of fear and am in perfect peace. (2 Timothy 1:7)

I am a safe place for those around me, and my great faith covers and encourages those experiencing fear. (Galatians 6:1)

The Spirit in me is greater than the spirit in the world. (1 John 4:4)

Because I am a follower of Jesus, I have the greatest gift of eternal life right now. (John 3:16)

My God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He has delivered me in the past, and He will deliver me in this also and make me a source of strength and peace to others. (1 Samuel 17:34-35)

[10/06/20]   Some wisdom from the jungles of motherhood...

"My daughter and I just had a knock-down, drag-out bedtime hour. Finally, about ten minutes ago, I put her to bed and through clinched teeth said 'I love you, Holland, but not another word tonight. You are going to sleep now. I'm done fussing over stuffed animals.'

'Mommy?'
I paused on the way out the door, literally biting my tongue I was so frustrated.
'What is it, Holland?'
'I DO have one more thing to say.'
Of course she did. She was standing on the bed with her hands on her hips, too. Her hair was wild and she was using her arm to wipe her tears and snot away from her face.
'Mommy,' my three year old said, staring me down with venom in her tiny voice...
'I FORGIVE YOU!!!'
Then she laid down and cried and honest to goodness, for a hot minute, I didn't know what to do.
The way she said 'I forgive you,' made it sound like cuss words.
I walked over to the bedside and leaned over.
'Baby girl, do you know what forgiveness means?'
She was still sniffling, her face shoved deep into her Little Mermaid pillow.
'Yes,' she muttered.
I really had to hear this.
'It means you were wrong, and I'm tired of being mad, and now I'm going to sleep and my heart won't have a tummy ache.'
So there you have it, folks.
Tonight I was taught a lesson in forgiveness by a three year old. It was a gut punch, too. And you're dang right I climbed in that bed and loved on her.
Because to be honest, MY heart had a bit of a tummy ache.
I was reminded by my toddler to never go to bed in anger. Because when you do, your heart will have a tummy ache.
And you know what? I've been alive for 35 years, and I've got to give it to her:
She's not wrong."

God isn’t grading you, comparing you, nor is he keeping score. Performance can get in the way of your design which is to simply follow the impulses of the spirit. Bow out of the imaginary race for worthiness.

[09/24/20]   Me: Hey God.

God: Hello…..

Me: I’m falling apart. Can you put me back together?

God: I’m doing something better.

Me: What about all of the pieces of my life that are falling down onto the ground?

God: Let them stay there for a while. They fell off for a reason. Let’s take some time and decide if you need any of those pieces back.

Me: You don’t understand! I’m breaking down!

God: No – you don’t understand. YOU ARE BREAKING THROUGH. What you are feeling are just growing pains. You are shedding the things, the people and the systems in your life that are holding you back. You are not falling apart. YOU ARE FALLING INTO PLACE. RELAX. Take some deep breaths and allow those things you don’t need anymore to fall off of you. Quit holding onto the pieces that don’t fit you anymore. Let them fall off. Let them go.

Me: Once I start doing that, what will be left of me?

God: Only the best parts. The you that is truly you.

Me: I’m scared of changing.

God: Oh Beloved, if you could see what I see— YOU ARE BECOMING!

Me: Becoming who?

God: Becoming who I created you to be!

I’ve been helping people hear from God for over a decade. It doesn’t come through striving. We hear more clearly when we enter a place of rest. You were created to hear him. Need help? Reach out to me!

A few years ago, as I waited for the sun to rise over the beach, I was thinking with God about a troubling dream. In it, I was at a venue where I had been invited to speak but I wasn't fully dressed. Clearly, I didn't feel prepared.
As I watched the pink sky line just above the water, I realized that this promise of a new day was an opportune moment to cast off the old thinking represented in the dream.
I asked God for a new thought for the new day. A fresh thought illuminated: "Being prepared isn't as much about doing as it is about being. Prepared is who I am." Right then, the top of the red sun began to emerge from the water.
As the new day was born, I spoke out in agreement with God's thoughts: "I am prepared for life because of who I am. God made me and purposed me for this day. I am ready because I am me. It is God who equips me as I walk with him."

Some people avoid this at all costs, yet this is where the treasure is. This is where you lay down your burdens, struggles, striving, control, false responsibilities. Those that journey here often breath a deep sigh of relief.

Faith comes from hearing him speak. Acts of faith that bear powerful fruit follow.

What might CS Lewis say of our new COVID situation?

Here’s what he said in 1948 about the mental shift required by living with the threat of the atomic bomb:

"We think a great deal too much of the atomic bomb. “How are we to live in an atomic age?” I am tempted to reply: “Why, as you would have lived in the sixteenth century when the plague visited London almost every year, or as you would have lived in a Viking age when raiders from Scandinavia might land and cut your throat any night; or indeed, as you are already living in an age of cancer, an age of syphilis, an age of paralysis, an age of air raids, an age of railway accidents, an age of motor accidents.”
In other words, do not let us begin by exaggerating the novelty of our situation. Believe me, dear sir or madam, you and all whom you love were already sentenced to death before the atomic bomb was invented: and quite a high percentage of us were going to die in unpleasant ways. We had, indeed, one very great advantage over our ancestors—anesthetics; but we have that still. It is perfectly ridiculous to go about whimpering and drawing long faces because the scientists have added one more chance of painful and premature death to a world which already bristled with such chances and in which death itself was not a chance at all, but a certainty.
This is the first point to be made: and the first action to be taken is to pull ourselves together. If we are all going to be destroyed by an atomic bomb, let that bomb when it comes find us doing sensible and human things—praying, working, teaching, reading, listening to music, bathing the children, playing tennis, chatting to our friends over a pint and a game of darts—not huddled together like frightened sheep and thinking about bombs. They may break our bodies (a microbe can do that) but they need not dominate our minds."
— “On Living in an Atomic Age” (1948)

The next logical step is that God will be another thing that you try to control--by following rules to get the outcomes you desire. On the other hand, relationship always involves mystery, risk, submitting to each other, intimacy and vulnerability. Between religion and a relationship, only one requires faith.

[07/09/20]   Many things will pull on you today. There will always be people who need and want things from you. But there's also Someone you can pull on and draw from. Look up. Peace is always Present. There are moments of peace waiting for those who chose to seek it out. Draw from that peace and carry it with you. Stop and take a deep breath of it as often as needed. You can rule your day or your day can rule you.

Go for it!

Darkness surrounds us, but as we rise, his light rises upon us. As we see the truth of our being, God’s image within, we will shine with his glory and dispel the darkness.

If this resonates, then do me a favor and ask Holy Spirit if this is something that he’s providing for you. Then follow his voice and the desire of your heart!

I believe that many of you reading this have something both to receive and to give. Our gatherings are a celebration of women as spiritual mothers. Therefore, your heart will be nurtured and your presence—words, worship, expression—will be a gift to us as well.

I believe this with all my heart: We rise together! We are stronger together. We take more territory together than we ever could apart.
