"The last 10 months for Jalene Salinas have been filled with chemo, radiation and surgery, but her story isn't just about cancer but hope, joy and the community's chance to make her final wish come true.
Doctors removed the first tumor, but couldn't stop others from growing despite several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation.

"There's nothing else they can do for her," said Arriaga. "They told us anything that you want to do with her now or she wants to do, go ahead and do it."

Over the course of several weeks, the family has made a lifetime of memories come true like making a snowman and meeting the Spurs' Tim Duncan.

One by one, the family helped Jalene check off every item on her bucket list, with one exception and only Taylor Swift can make it happen.
The 4-year-old, with perhaps only weeks to live, dreams of meeting her idol, Taylor Swift for the chance to dance to her hit song, 'Shake it Off.'

Taylor, known for taking care of her fans, did send a gift package to Jalene filled with memorabilia and a signed poster. But maybe there is a way to get Taylor Swift to Skype or Facetime with Jalene.

Eyewitness News is asking the community to get involved and rally around #ShakeItOffJalene on Twitter and tag @taylorswift13 to help send messages of support and help make her final wish come true.

Meanwhile, whatever happens with her bucket list, the next few weeks are not about tears or what-ifs, but about living in the present, accepting the gift of being in the moment and shaking off life's curveballs by loving and dancing."
