The Hidalgo Foundation exists to support: Restoration of the Historic Courthouse, Bexar County Children's Courts, and BiblioTechs digital public libraries

The Hidalgo Foundation of Bexar County, a non-profit organization, was formed in the summer of 2001 by Founder and President Tracy Wolff. The Foundation operates exclusively for the charitable, literary, historical, and educational purpose for the sole benefit of Bexar County, Texas. The initial mission of the Foundation was to preserve and renovate the century old historic Bexar County Courthouse

Community Spotlight Bibliotech East w/Tivy Whitlock


Ever since April 19th when Judge Wolff, Tracy Wolff and Sean Elliott oversaw the grand opening of BiblioTech East, the Hidalgo Foundation is pleased to report that BiblioTech East has had over 19,000 visitors with nearly 1,000 individuals registering for their library cards at the library branch itself.

Just today, Judge Wolff was in Laredo at the Grand Opening of their own BiblioTech. Bexar County BiblioTech is being replicated in other communities!

‪It's official! The Laredo BiblioTech branch is now open - making it the second city in the U.S. to implement an all digital library!‬

‪Located at the Casa Verde Apartments, it's open to residents and all community members. Thank you to Mayor Pete Saenz and Councilwoman Nelly Vielma for all of your support!

In honor of Bexar County’s 300 year anniversary, their Majesties, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain visited our community and toured the historic Bexar County Courthouse. Because of your support of the Hidalgo Foundation of Bexar County, the oldest continuously operated Courthouse in the state of Texas was restored to its original grandeur.

SA Children’s Court garners sizable donation

The Hill Country Science Mill summer camp is coming to BiblioTech South!

At camp, middle school-aged students were immersed in real-world scenarios through team-building, critical problem solving and the technology challenges that define the jobs of STEM professionals. On each day of camp, students experience a different, broad STEM career lane: aerospace engineering, forensic science, computer science and engineering, data science and neuroscience.
