The focus of Run Rugged Fitness is the overall health and wellness of the family unit. We offer personal training, nutrition (both online and in person) and run coach for both adults and children.

[12/14/20]   This is the last week at TPES and BBES for this session. We will start back at the end of January with our after school programs. We will also be adding Specht Elem School on Tuesdays next session!!

Runners at Timberwood Park Elem and Bill Brown Elem, we are coming your way!! We have been asked to do a 6 week trial in person after school club starting the first week in November! We need help getting out info as we cannot pass out flyers this year. Feel free to share to your neighborhood groups if you are in either of those schools. Clubs are for the students only registered at these school, no cross school clubs at this time right now. We are only allowed 15 runners, we will be outside entire time, guidelines will be followed, students will not have to wear a mask while running but will need to stay 6 ft from another student. [08/24/20]   It's been another awesome year for our runners, especially since it's been odd. Our runners have run farther than ever before! We are winding down this year this week and everyone starts fresh Sept 1. Be watching for our runners as they are crossing those last finish lines this week!!

Team Run Rugged was represented very well this weekend at the XTERRA National Trail Run Championship in Ogden, Utah! The competition was intense, the course was tough, the views were breathtaking and the vibe from all the athletes and XTERRA was amazing! It was a great weekend, new friendships formed while new PR's were made. So proud of Team Texas!!

Run Rugged Fitness provides a boot camp for both men and women desiring the tough full body workout with great physical results without all of the yelling. We are driven to help our campers break through the “I can’t” mental barriers and prove that they can do anything they put their minds to. We offer a tough but fun program that anyone at any fitness level can join in on. Our sessions are 4 weeks on and one week off with a built in recovery week where light active recovery is encouraged.

So proud of our Rugged athletes this season. We've all had ups and downs, highs and lows, medals and age group awards. The courses have been rocky, rooty, rugged and this last course this past weekend included the infamous JACOBS LADDER at what has been deemed the toughest XTERRA race in Texas! These athletes fought through very hot and humid weather, rainy and wet courses and always came out on top. Its been a great season and I'm so proud to see them out there battered and bruised but still digging deep for the finish line! Most of us are headed to the XTERRA National Championship in Ogden, Utah next month!! Congrats on a fantastic season!
