UTSA Nonprofit Leadership Alliance The Nonprofit Leadership Alliance program is a nonprofit management leadership credential developed with, and recognized by, the nonprofit sector nationwide.

Students complete comprehensive academic and experiential requirements that prepare them for nonprofit sector careers, and receive the professional designation, CNP (Certified Nonprofit Professional) upon completion of the program.

Mission: The mission of the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance is to educate, prepare and certify you to strengthen and lead nonprofit organizations. The Nonprofit Leadership Alliance partners with our campus and many others, as well as some of the most recognized nonprofit organizations across the country, all with the purpose of helping to develop future leaders who are certified to change the world for the better.

For those interested we are accepting UTSA students who are undergrads expected to graduate by Spring 2014 as well as graduate students (no expected graduation date necessary). Prospect orientation is January 29th 7-8p. First general meeting is February 1st 6:30-8:30p!

[09/30/12]   UTSA STUDENTS ARE FUNDRAISING AND NEED YOUR HELP!

UTSA is one of many institutions nationwide working to prepare the next generation of nonprofit leaders by providing a variety of professional development and nonprofit certification opportunities for students.

UTSA students who are part of the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance certification program are fundraising to attend the annual Alliance Management/Leadership Institute (AMI) in Atlanta, Georgia, January 2-5, 2013.

AMI is an annual leadership development and networking conference that provides an excellent opportunity for students to network with nonprofit professionals from across the country, conduct career development and information interviews, participate in leadership development, and take part in the Case Study Leadership Service Projects at local nonprofits.

AMI attendance is a key requirement of the certification, and costs approximately $1,000 per student. Your sponsorship will help students to cover their conference fees, travel, and lodging expenses to AMI.
