The conference draws more than 300 educators annually to explore new resources and lesson ideas about agriculture.

Lesson Plans and Fact/Activity Sheets
Comprehensive Units, Lesson Plans, and Fact/Activity Sheets for the classroom saves educators from reinventing the wheel by providing proven methods, facts and ideas for teaching the value of agriculture.

Ambassador Program
Thousands of California educators serve as liaisons between the Foundation and educators at their schools.

Imagine this. . .
Tens of thousands of stories are written for this annual 3rd through 8th grade essay contest. The top six stories are selected and published in book form using illustrations developed by high school art students. First place winners are honored during National Agriculture Week.

What's Growin' On?
The 16-page, activity-based Newspaper in Education project answers everyday questions about the growing of crops and the raising of animals. Distribution of the 8th edition is slated for October 2009. The primary audience is 3rd through 8th grade students. Circulation reaches over a half million readers.

Cream of the Crop
Over 50,000 copies are circulated to educators, Agriculture in the Classroom volunteers, and others interested in agricultural literacy. This six-page biannual newsletter is filled with agriculture and AITC news, feature stories and resources.

Hundreds of agricultural resources fill this annual guide distributed to thousands of educators each
year – available in paper and cd format.
