We had a great time at the Student Life Leadership Banquet and Awards Ceremony last night. We won the Presidential Award for Organizational Excellence ("Organization of the Year") and the Outstanding Service to Students Award for our college and community service. Additionally, Kimberly Nicolosi won Organizational President of the Year, Meghan Elizabeth Lifsey, our Recording Officer, won the Presidential Award for Leadership (female), and Lucy Njaramba, our Vice President of Fellowship (not pictured), won the Arvee Spirit Award. Additionally, Hannah Lineman, our Vice President of Leadership, was nominated for the Emerging Leader Award, and our Vice President of Service, Kaycia Zimmerman, won an award for her accomplishments as a student-athlete.

• Medical supplies, such as bandages, antibiotic cream, and
• Boxed (not canned) food, such as pasta and rice
• Personal hygiene items, such as toothpaste, toothbrushes,
body wash, shampoo, etc.
Stop by our table from 10:00-1:00 on Monday, March 21st to drop off your items. The drive will continue through the end of March, however.
We are teaming up with the Belvidere High School Honor Society for this drive. Items collected will be taken to the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Chicago, and they will facilitate shipping to Europe.

We are conducting a collection drive for clear, reusable water bottles to assist the Rockford Rescue Mission with one of their programs designed to help homeless women. We'll have a table set up in March, but in the meantime, you can take them to the Academic & Transfer Advising Office if you want to donate.
We will not be having a regular meeting today, but stop by the Student Center Atrium at 3:00 if you want to help us put the finishing touches on our Honors in Action presentation and display. Happy Thanksgiving!
