YWCP students are once again participating in the College Accounting & You program - a partnership between RIT's Division of Diversity and Inclusion, the Saunders College of Business and the Rochester office of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

After two years off due to the pandemic, the program is back! There are about 30 student participants from YWCP, Fairport HS, Gates-Chili HS and Destiny Christian School. They are learning about careers in business and accounting, and hearing from recent graduates who work in the field about what the career is really like.

Saunders College of Business announced its 2021-2022 graduation student delegates, recognized for their outstanding performance within the college.

Representing Saunders as the RIT Croatia Delegate is Filip Stanišić, graduating with a bachelor of science in hospitality and tourism management. Alongside his 3.99 cumulative GPA, Filip received the Outstanding Undergraduate Scholar Award.

Representing Saunders as the RIT China Delegate is Jiayu Li, from Weihai, China, with a bachelor of science in management information systems.

As part of the Dean's Distinguished Speaker Series, Saunders hosts Professor Muzaffer (Muzzo) Uysal, Ph.D., provost professor and chair of the hospitality and tourism management department from Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst virtually at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 29.

Professor Uysal has been studying advances in research on tourism and the quality of life that will pose new challenges and opportunities for academics and practitioners.
