Operating as usual
[06/11/15] I am really excited about the upcoming school year for my Work Based Learning students. For the first time we are allowing the ACELL Juniors (these are the honors students who are currently taking college courses) to participate in the program. The students who were selected for this year's program went through a much more extensive selection process and I truly believe we have young people who will make good workers. All of us who are working now remember how important it was to get that first job. Many places don't want to hire you if you don't have experience, but how can you get experience if no one will give you the opportunity. If any of you could use a student worker for 2 hours a day Monday-Friday (they can work more hours but the program only requires 2 hrs per day) please consider giving one of these students a chance. If you are interested in learning more about the program of have questions please message me. Also I would like to thank all of you who have provided jobs for our workers in the past. Thanks to all of you who support our program and our students. If you can help us out or have any questions, please let me know. P.S. the jobs do not have to be in Wilcox County, they can be in surrounding counties as well. THANKS!!
