Hello all!
Please take a second and check out Song Of The Torah's page and consider giving it a Like. Song of the Torah was written by local Charlottesville resident and scholar, Prahaladon.

The Song of the Torah is a collection of weekly scripture selections and teachings drawn from the five books of Moses: Genesis (B’rey-sheet); Exodus (Shemot); Leviticus (Vayikra); Numbers (Bamidbar); and Deuteronomy (D’varim). They are presented in Song Of The Torah in contemporary gender-neutral English, mostly present tense and worded for practicality and immediate use in our daily lives. This offering is intended to be faithful to the spirit of the teachings in these scriptures.

I am a member of the JCC and I really wanted to come in person to say this to folks but unfortunately I had an unexpected business trip to Camden, ME. I desperately needed my JCC family to know that, while I am not Jewish, I feel so much a part of this Jewish family and community. My heart grieves deeply at this time for the families and community of Pittsburgh but also for my Jewish family in Richmond. For more than a decade you all have been such a gracious community and many of you have helped shepherd me through various hard moments in my life. So, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and know that you are well loved.
