Barksdale Theatre and Theatre IV are now Virginia Repertory Theatre!

Our two nonprofit organizations are merging to become Virginia Rep. The artistic hallmarks of Barksdale and Theatre IV not only continue, they are further enhanced. World premieres, international classics, extravagant musicals, bracing dramas, laugh-out-loud comedies — whatever your tastes in theatre, you will find it at Virginia Rep.

Kid-oriented production appeals to whole family The adorability quotient is high in Theatre IV's "Seussical," playing at the November Theatre. The 2000 kid-oriented musical conceived by Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty and Eric Idle is based on several beloved Dr. Seuss books. And the colorful production directed by Chase Kniffen is lovable, too.

You'll learn everything you need to put on a show and then you'll get a chance to do it in a professional theatre! Every day campers will learn singing, acting, and dancing from Broadway instructors along with Costumes, Sets, Lights, Sound, Stage Combat and so much more!
