This afternoon, we had the pleasure of visiting a beautiful new shooting range in Ashland, VA. called Blue Ridge Arsenal, Winding Brook.
I was impressed with how polite the staff was and the facilities that they have. If you are looking to practice shooting and are not happy with your current range, this is the place to go. This little gem is just the kind of range that the Richmond area has needed for a while.

As many have already noticed, we have suspended our training schedule for the time being. Many people have asked what I will be doing with my newly found "free time". Well, this morning we announced via Twitter that I will be coming on board with the great folks at US Law Shield, and will be giving self-defense lectures around the state of Virginia to law abiding citizens and gun owners. It is a fantastic opportunity where I hope to be able to reach more people and help them with increasing their knowledge. I look forward to seeing all of you in a lecture soon!

ANNOUNCEMENT - I wanted to take a moment to address our customers with news about a change in our business operations.

With the completion of our June, 2016 training calendar, we will no longer offer monthly "open enrollment" classes. We will still continue to offer private, group classes upon request, but there will not be a monthly posted schedule of classes. This may change again in the future, depending upon market conditions or other factors where there may be an increased demand for our fi****ms training classes.
Since 2007, Proactive Shooters, LLC has trained thousands of people in the safe and effective use of defensive fi****ms. We truly appreciate the business of our customers who have chosen Proactive Shooters as their provider for fi****ms training. It has been an honor and a privilege to train with each and every one of you.
