This young man, a student at Meadowbrook High School, stopped by Mrs. Greenwood's CIS office to grab a snack. Mrs. Greenwood has been working with this student to help him improve his school attendance, which he did! The snack was a small reward for his achievement , while he works towards his larger goal of reaching graduation. A big thanks to Capital One for donating the snacks.
We are less than a week away from secondary students returning to in-person learning, and the adults are in need of some cheering on too! At Meadowbrook High School , our Coordinator Cecelia Greenwood teamed up with our Office Manager, Amy, to set up a coffee bar for teachers and staff. In a year that has forced folks to be separated, it's so important that they have safe opportunities to come back together to unite as a team. Thanks to Starbucks for donating the coffee! We also have to thank Chick-fil-A Chester, who donated 500 sandwich coupons to reward Meadowbrook students achieving honor roll and improved attendance!
Something great is coming together and any little bit helps!!
Highly recommend
https://EasyVirtualChoir.com, super easy to use, and it is FREE! The software aligns audio/video tracks automatically and generates virtual choir videos instantly. Users have created videos for choir, band, chamber music, virtual rehearsal, online music teaching, choir dance, audition, recital, singing with sign language, drama practice, distance PE, skit etc., or simply for fun with friends and family. Educators have used it to integrate music, teacher instruction and student participation into one video. It’s a versatile visualization tool and virtual platform combined, especially useful for distance learning. It’s a fun way for teachers to engage remote students and provide timely feedback. Kids are excited to participate in the recording and see themselves in the generated video. The entire process is so simple and fast for both teachers and students, that most k-12 school teachers have got a class video created after just one period. Remote music lessons and online rehearsals have become so much easier with this software, which has made teachers thrilled, students delighted, and parents pleased. Some schools are using this software for in-person and hybrid teaching as well. Hope this free service will be helpful to your students too! -- Please share with your music teachers. Thanks
Woodlake UMC came through in a big way for CIS of Chesterfield and our students! In hearing that our Site Coordinator at L.C. Bird High School was looking for donations to stock the school's food pantry, the church came together and brought over a truckload of food! In fact, they collected so much food that the love was spread to Meadowbrook High School and Falling CreekElementary too! Thank you, Woodlake United Methodist - we are so grateful for your support!
