In light of budget season advocacy, we have secured a virtual q&a with our Board of Supervisors Representative, James Holland on Thursday March 4th, 2021 at 6:30pm. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, and learn more about the budget and school funding process.

I volunteer with CIEE, working with high school exchange students. My family has hosted many kids over the years. I am in search of hosts for students arriving this fall for 1 or 2 semesters. They provide their spending money and health insurance, participate in school, volunteering and with their host. Our hosts are single adults, single parents. families with small and/or teenage children, or empty nesters. A loving and safe environment is a must. We have kids from over 50 countries with interests including soccer, tennis, swimming, drama, chorus, band and more. Right now I am committed to helping Joao, from Brazil who will be 17 during his stay. He plays soccer, lifts weights, scuba dives, hunts and enjoys cooking. He would like to learn how to play football. He has a dog back home and a 50 gallon fish tank. Alessia from Italy will be 16 and she horseback rides, swims. She enjoys reading and writing and is excited to prepare pizza (which is different from ours in the US) and pasta for her host. I have also included two Thai kids who are need of hosts.

Thanks to all the parents that came out to our Back to School Night dinner and who joined the PTA. Our spiritwear and doughnut fund raisers have ended and both were a big success. We are now selling Cookie Company. Please join us this Thursday Oct.20th for our McDonald's Night from 5-8 you do not have to dine in go by the drive thru and mention the school.
Congratulations to our 16-17 PTA Board members who were elected this past Monday at our General Membership meeting. President: Tawanda Taylor, Vice Pres./Membership:Sophia Tucker, Secretary: Nicole Fleming,Treasurer: Christina McCranie,Vice President/Fundraising Dawn Graham and Fundraising Co. Chair Loretta Breedlove and Communications Chair Christy Davis. Thank you to all who helped make our Fish Fry Luncheon such a success it was a great fundraiser for us.
Congratulations to Mrs.Davis/Days class they won first place in the Box Top contest with over 1,000 box tops. Ms.Ballenger/Mrs.Flinn's class won 2nd place with over 500 and Ms. Elston/Mrs.Robertson's class won 3rd with over 300. Thanks to all the classes who participated!! Please continue to send in your Box Tops.
Field Day T"s can be purchased for 12.00 money is due by April 12th get yours today. Krispy Kreme certificates money due on April 12th and certificates will be delivered on the 15th cost 8.00. I big thank you we raised over 1,400.00 from Yankee Candle and 1,000.00 from Box top's!!!

Welcome to your Falling Creek PTA for the 2015-2016 school year! My name is Tawanda Taylor and I am your PTA president. We the PTA would like to give you an overview of what we do: we partner with parents, teachers, and our students.
We need your help as well to come out to PTA sponsored events, and come join our monthly meetings. The PTA sends our teachers to many workshops, purchase spirit wear for staff, help with Teacher Appreciation Week, purchase SOL supplies for students, organize Field Day, STEAM TEAM and many other projects.
If it is for our students and teachers, we are here to help! That is why we need your help because when FCES PTA thrives our school thrives! :D
