Self-care: Managing Life with School, Family, Work — and a Pandemic
Being a student is a big responsibility. It is unlikely that adult students can just be students. They often have other responsibilities. Those responsibilities can become priorities. How often do you make yourself and your needs the priority? During this webinar, Dr. Cooper will introduce the topic of self-care, its importance to your overall well-being, ways to engage in self-care, and the repercussions of neglecting self-care.
Congratulations to the two recipients of the 2020 New Professional Reporter Grant:
First-place winner, Erin Johnson of Carthage, Ill., and second-place winner Laura Tello of Houston, Texas.

Koch heard about court reporting from her aunt when she was in high school. She attended MacCormac College in Chicago until she got to the speed of 180 wpm. She then took a 7-year break to be home with children, but she didn’t want to give up the hard work. So she started again online and has been practicing on her own.
