We might begin to develop different political beliefs. There may be even existential or spiritual shifts. And if we look at Matrescence, the transition to motherhood, we can see again, all these changes, physical, psychological, cognitive, economic, spiritual - all of these things: cultural, social, relational.
And so in studying with her (Dr. Athan) and taking her course, and looking at all of the research that we were assigned there, I was like, oh, yeah, it’s another creative period.“

Dr. Maria Montessori observed young children around world, and during the most horrific times: World War II. In her writings, she extensively speaks about the importance of providing peace education in early years, nurseries, daycare centers. She said that peace must be taught in order to bring about a new peaceful world our children can grow in.
Peaceful education is the core of the Montessori Curriculum. And it is the time we all start taking it seriously ♥️
