Fr. Timothy Ploch, SDB is visiting Don Bosco Prep this week as part of his Extraordinary Visitation of our Salesian Province. Fr. Tim, General Councilor for the Interamerica Region, has been delegated by the Rector Major to conduct a visitation of all of the Salesian houses. During this week, he has examined the life and work of the Salesian Community, as well as the school as a whole. Fr. Tim has interacted with the student body by attending lunch in the cafeteria, walking around campus, and addressing the community in the morning broadcast. Pictured is Fr. Tim with the Media students on today’s set!

Students were shown videos with highlights of the trips and the student missionaries’ work.
Additionally, there was a presentation of the upcoming Covenant House Sleep-out which will take place at DBP on April 5.

Soup Kitchen 2/27/19
Every week two of our Salesian pre-novices, Mr. Kevin White '16 and Mr. John Castonguay, take a group of freshmen to St. John’s Soup Kitchen in Newark, NJ. This past Wednesday freshmen Daniel Eitner, Sam Chang, Christian Eastlake, Anthony Schurz and Liam Fay helped with meal prep by cutting fruit and chicken. They also served the food into trays and they handed out plastic bags, napkins, and bread to those in need.
