I can't beleive this post is from one year ago today. I really don't know what to say.....it's been the worst year! Unfortunately the building (Wingate Residences) is still closed to the public. I'm hoping now that the vacine is being administered we might see a change soon. I hope you and your families are well. I miss you all!

Thinking of all my swimmers today and looking forward to starting up lessons. I don't know when but I'll let everyone know when I get the okay to get back in the pool.

Happy New Year to all my swimmer's & their families! I miss you all & can't wait to get back in the pool with swim lessons. Stay safe!

Info regarding: Swim Lessons at the pool & BACKYARD Swim Lessons:
Sorry the pool is not open yet. Wingate Residence is an assisted living facility and have to follow the same guide lines as nursing homes regarding COVID-19. When Wingate is allowed to open to the public swim lessons will be able to resume at the pool. I will be doing backyard lessons this summer!! If there is a backyard pool or a lake/pond you have access to we can set up a time for lessons. I will be following covid safety guidelines, wearing a mask and keeping at a distance, but still offering a great swim lesson. CALL ME at 401-434-2432 for more info!

This afternoon I was notified that Wingate Assisted Living Residence has closed the building because of COVID-19. No one under the age of 18 are allowed in the building and they are even discouraging family members of residences of visiting. So until further notice no swim lessons. I will let you know when they open the building and we can get back into the pool. Sorry for the inconvenience! Stay healthy!!

Important Notice to current swim lesson participants and family members entering building for swim lessons at Wingate Assisted Living Residence.
* Until further notice you need to enter at the front/lobby entrance (not the entrance near the fitness center) and stop at the front desk and fill out a form for each person, and have your temperature taken.
* The form reads - Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) threat, we ask that you answer the following questions and sign below. if you answer yes to any of the questions, please delay your visit to Wingate until you are no longer feeling ill. Thank you for supporting our efforts to keep our residents and staff healthy and safe.
1. Do you have a fever? Y or N
2. Do you have a cough or cold symptoms? Y or N
3. Do you have difficulty taking a deep breath? Y or N
You will have to sign form.
*** If your temperature is 100.4 or higher you will be turned away.

Just got back from an amazing trip to St Thomas and Tortola. The snorkeling was amazing!!! Thank you so much for teaching the girls to snorkel! They were experts out there!!!
