Jaundice is a term used to describe a buildup of a substance called bilirubin in the blood. Bilirubin is mostly removed from the body through stool. For most babies, mild jaundice will resolve without treatment. For some, however, a buildup of bilirubin may occur faster than the body is able to remove it. Certain levels of jaundice can become dangerous if left untreated.

Concierge doctors are changing the community. Dr. Kammerer is a local Pediatrician that is making house calls to families in the North Dallas, Plano, and Richardson areas. This is an absolute game changer for families, especially those with multiple small children. No more wrangling all the kids to the doctor! Your children can be more comfortable in THEIR home where they feel more in control.
Not to mention, being able to contact your doctor via phone, text, or email anytime is a HUGE perk. Not everything requires you to see your Pediatrician in person. Let's not forget what a pain it can be to have to take your sick kiddo to the doctor when they already don't feel well.
As for babies, since they are our specialty, Dr. Kammerer is fully equipped to take on newborns and complete all well-baby checks right from the comfort of your own home.
