The 2022 Darke County Summer Manufacturing Camp rounded out on Friday with Edison State Community College helping campers build bridges, Upper Valley Career Center Adult Division providing a virtual welding experience, and ended with family members and local leaders gathering for the closing program. Campers were able to "pitch" to the group the products they had been developing all week. Pretty exciting day for this great group of Darke County 7th & 8th graders!!! (Stay tuned for more pictures from GHS student photographers!)

We are excited for this weekend's food distribution! We'll be working with the OSU Extension Miami County, Shared Harvest Foodbank and the Miami County Food Insecurity Alliance at Upper Valley Career Center Adult Division on Looney Rd! Come see us between 10 am and noon for a box of great food! No contact, no information needed. And if you'd like to volunteer, please sign up at this link! Edit: volunteer slots are full, thank you!
Health Partners Free Clinic understands that a person's health is more than just medical care. That's why we partner so heavily with Shared Harvest Foodbank to help get food into our communities. Shared Harvest is now offering mobile pantries throughout the month at some of the more rural locations in Miami, Darke and Preble county! You can go to
www.freshtrak.com and enter your zip code, that will give you a list of upcoming food pantries and distributions in your area! For some of the mobile distributions, you have to register via freshtrak, but it's super easy!
In February, Shared Harvest will be at the Oakes-Beitman Memorial Library in Pleasant Hill on the 8th from 11 am until 12 pm and at Milton-Union Public Library in West Milton on the 8th from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm. Additionally, there will be a mobile pantry at the Solid Rock Church, located at 8991 Old US Highway 36, Bradford on the 22nd from 11 am to 1 pm. All of this in addition to our large mass distribution on February 27th at noon at Upper Valley Career Center Adult Division. Shew, that was a tasty mouthful! Please, don't go without food, we are here to help!
It's that time again! Shared Harvest Foodbank will be providing their mass distribution of food on Saturday, January 23rd, from NOON to 2PM. Note the time change! We will again be at the Upper Valley Career Center Adult Division on Looney Road. This will be a drive through again.
Can't wait to see you!
