We have had a bunch of phone calls about the details of the before and after school program called B.A.S.E. Here are the details:
1. COMPLETELY FREE FOR ALL STUDENTS
2. Hours - 6am - 7:30am and 2:30 - 6pam
3. FUN stuff to do! Games, computers, library, homework help, tutoring, arts and crafts, music, outdoor games and sports, and more!
4. FREE breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack
5. We have room for you and your neighbors! Enroll today!

Summer is almost here! 8th Grade Promotion is on 5/23 and Kinder Graduation Ceremony is on 5/24. Exciting times!

Another step in the right direction toward school safety -- our governing board approved walkie talkies. A special thank you to Mr. Milan Eaton who is providing set up and training for the staff on safety and their usage. Communication is KEY!

School Safety has become a national concern. Phoenix Advantage doesn't claim to have the answers, but we do know that our families need a safe place for their kids when they are working. Starting next year, we will be open from 6am - 5:45pm we will be open for FREE to Eagle Students.

Today is our culminating day of red ribbon week. We have had a wonderful and fun filled week with great visitors. Phoenix Advantage welcomed Maria & Chad from Kool Radio on Wednesday and MCSO is here right now with a car, the giant booking unit, and some beautiful canine officers. We can't thank everyone enough for making our school the wonderful place it is!

Good Afternoon Eagles,
Today we practiced our lockdown procedures to make sure that we are prepared for any event that would require us to lock down in the classrooms. Our team did exceptionally well and this practice gave us time to refine any snags that we ran across. It is my prayer that we never have to put practice into actual use!

We just completed our first fire drill of the year. 2 minutes and 58 seconds. Go Eagles!!

We still have some students who have occasional accidents and we need a washer. If you know anyone who can donate, Phoenix Advantage can write a tax receipt. Thanks a million!

Dreaming Big: Phoenix Advantage would like to have a full service kitchen but they are pricey -- if you know of any grants or know of anyone who can donate restaurant equipment, we would be forever grateful.
