Our highly educated and committed staff serves a diverse population of students with a wide variety of programs. Our curriculum is aligned to College and Career Readiness Standards and we constantly strive to ensure that our students have access to the knowledge and technology necessary to their success in college, career, and life.

Your Chavez track team represented our community well at the AIA All Division State Track Championships.
Super Sophomore Mayen Usoro continued her dominance by DEFENDING her title as the fastest in Arizona winning yet ANOTHER state championship in the 100M Dash!
Senior Royal Haley took 2nd place in the 400M Dash with a personal record of 47.55, which we believe is a Chavez record!
Freshman sensation Rhylyn Doxie took 5th place in the long jump and has a great career ahead of her!
The Boys 4x400 Relay (Royal Haley, Micah Carter, Chris McLean, and MJ Woodberry) won 3rd place!
We are so proud of all of our coaches, supporters, and student-athletes who work tirelessly at their craft.

Please join us in congratulating our 1st Solar Electric Go-kart Racing Team! They competed at Racing the Sun in Tucson and brought home 1st Place Trophies for New Team of the Year and Innovation. Team members include: Oscar Tonche, Isaiah Davis, Samai Rankin, Daniel Reza, and Vincent Castro.
Connor Costa, a 2024 ARCH senior, is our latest million-dollar scholar!
He has been accepted to Coe College, Case Western Reserve University (POSSE scholar), Pacific Lutheran Academy, Ohio Wesleyan University, Allegheny College, Gettysburg College, Marquette University, Simpson College and St. Mary's University, with scholarship offerings totaling nearly $1.4 million!!
Connor selected Case Western Reserve University, where he will be majoring in Engineering.
We are pleased to announce that our fantastic Chavez art team had several students who placed in multiple categories in the PXU District Art Show held at the Washington Carver Museum. Students placed in the following categories: Drawing, 2D Mixed Media, and Photography. We are thrilled that our hardworking art students could be recognized on the district stage for their achievements in art!

ARCH/Chavez student Zevon Johnson is our latest "Million Dollar Scholar!" He has been awarded 1.11 Million dollars in scholarships from Coe College, University of Arizona, Howard University, St. Mary’s College of California, Michigan State University, Penn State, St. Olaf College, and Pacific Lutheran University.
Odree Uwancunguye, an ARCH/Chavez student has been accepted into Johns Hopkins, Yale, University of Rochester, Lehigh University, Columbia University, Howard University, Spelman College. ASU, NAU, and University of Arizona.
Odree has earned scholarships/grants for a total of $1.8 million dollars and counting!!!
We are so proud of Odree! Truly a CHAMPION!

Cadet Second Lieutenant Pete Aranda was crowned as King. Cadet Aranda has already been accepted into the Navy’s Nuclear Engineering program!
Cadet Captain Krystal Oliva was crowned as Queen. She will be attending Case Western Reserve University on full scholarship!
Chavez JROTC Instructors Captain Fife and Sergeant Merrill run a top-notch program and deserve recognition for all of the hard work they put in for our Champion community!
Congratulations to ARCH/Chavez’ own Nyapech Gony. She has been accepted to Rutgers, Wooster College, St. Mary’s College, Loyola University and Ohio Wesleyan.
She has earned $450,000 in scholarship offers …. and counting! We are so proud of you, truly a CHAMPION!
This past weekend, students Mariah Muñoz and Alexander Ewell participated in the Shemer Art Center’s New Horizons: High School Student Art Exhibition. Mariah won three awards totaling in $200, and Alexander won two awards totaling $150, including the overall Student Choice Award! Both students are incredible artists whose dedication and work ethic are rivaled by few. Please join the art department in congratulating Mariah and Alex!
