It was a fun ladies gathering this morning at Emmaus! We started off with an wonderful and encouraging devotion about prayer. Next, Heather provided all the supplies for us to make some beautiful cards. We also enjoyed some delicious food and good conversations. Thank you to women who planned this event.

Kindergarten and 1st grade learned about mixing colors to make new colors. Then they got to eat their new colors! (It was frosting) 😄

Please join us in welcoming our new Preschool teacher, Miss Molly Bauer. Molly is also training to become the preschool/pre-K Director. Welcome, Molly!

I was born in Mesa, Arizona, and attended Pilgrim Lutheran School until 7th grade. My father took a call to North Hollywood, California, where I finished grade school, attended California Lutheran High School, and then on to Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. I am very excited to now come back to Arizona to teach! I come from a teaching family, with my father serving as principal and music teacher and my mother teaching piano lessons at North Hollywood Christian Academy. I am the oldest of 3, with a younger sister and brother. Living in North Hollywood has provided some unique experiences for me, such as: doing some background acting work for TV shows, meeting a total of 3 actors, and basically living in the middle of one big movie and TV set. I am a passionate runner who also enjoys hiking, so I look forward to exploring the mountains and trails here! Finally, I have always loved working with young children in any capacity, and I look forward to serving Emmaus as a teacher and preacher of the gospel. -Molly Bauer

Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Today we installed our new preschool teacher, Miss Molly Bauer. She is also in training to become the preschool director. May God bless and keep Molly and the entire staff in the upcoming school year.

It was a warm, wet, wonderful way to end out VBS week. Thank you to our volunteers for sharing the love of Jesus through music, crafts, games, and Bible stories. We loved seeing so many smiling faces on our campus this week. Let us keep sharing the good news of Jesus!

Carpet update day four: The fellowship hall carpet was installed. The preschool and pre-k rooms are close to being done. Those rooms are taking a little longer because they have carpet and tile. Make sure to stop in and check out the new carpet in the fellowship hall before or after church on Sunday!

Day three of the carpet installation brought a lot of progress! The workroom has new tile, and the K-4 classrooms are carpeted. The preschool and pre-k rooms are nearing completion. Carpet was replaced in Pastor’s study and work began in the fellowship hall. We are thankful for the hard work of the installation crew.

It is day 2 of the carpet installation . New carpet has been installed in the office, 7th/8th grade room, and the 5th/6th grade room.

The carpet installation has begun! Here are some pictures of what the carpet looked like before. Today the workers ripped out the carpet and tile in the classrooms, workroom and office.
