This is Crawford Miller, VP of digital strategy and investment at Martin Retail Group.

He’s been involved in digital marketing since 2009 and is responsible for all the digital ad placements for General Motors

During his discussion, he talked about the current trends in digital marketing and how marketers are responding to these changes, especially with Apple’s new privacy update.

“When an Apple user opts out of being tracked, this confuses marketers about who they should advertise to.”

Aside from digital marketing, he discussed how to land a fantastic job after graduation. Some key things to remember are creating a LinkedIn account, networking, and finding internships.

J.R. Wings & Things is a local wing spot located at the corner of Lake City and Rex. It’s black-owned, woman-owned, and family-owned. Like other wing places, they have your usual flavors such as lemon pepper, honey garlic, and bbq. A signature flavor is Xhot. Inside is all about Atlanta, from the Falcons to the Hawks, to the Braves. The wings are a must-try. I had a ten piece honey garlic with a drink. If you’re ever in the Atlanta-Metro area, check them out!
