The skier/snowboarder now has a beard. Summer is coming in a short few weeks and as a high school ceramics teacher the summer months will give me extra time to create. I have a bunch of pieces sitting and waiting for me to take a mold so let the mold making begin ASAP! This is the newest coffee mug in the lineup and I am stoked. I have some fun ideas and I can’t wait to show you all my plans for this series.

I unloaded the glaze kiln and this was my favorite mug out of the bunch. I use a grocery bag to splatter the blue and I am loving how that simple process is turning out. Excited to do it with other glaze combinations!

Ogden is a special city and I love living here! The people in the community are so friendly, eclectic, and open minded to others. I am so thankful that I get to surround myself with good people and create artwork together. Come hang out and do ceramics your way!

Chucky is ready for the bisque kiln after I went to town with some 🤘I will “antique” him with a black wash after the bisque as well as glaze the inside of the mug and handle.

Happy students taking pieces home! What a great feeling to see their faces when they see newly fired pieces. It’s like Christmas every couple weeks. 😆

We have been making some ceramic artwork while the wind kicks up outside. Wind storms are becoming a little more frequent these days, way more than I would prefer. Last time we had a high wind warning my family and I were without power for 7 days. Wishing all of my local peeps a safe night and hopefully we don’t lose any more trees or power. 💨🤞
