Most recent: "Spine” is about the struggle of expressing my creative thoughts in my pieces for my form study class. Sometimes those thoughts are so perplexed that I struggle with communicating them when I’m in the outside world. This piece was like a coping mechanism for me to help get rid of that obstruction. I used disconnection and negative space in this piece to symbolize that. The requirement of this project was that it should only be made for three different places. I chose my room, campus, and my car since It's a constant cycle in which I’m processing everything around. I mainly incorporated eggshells and other used materials for this piece.

Meghana/Meghan [email protected]: Online vs in-person classes for Grades K-12 My first solo exhibit, at age 12 gave me wings to fly!

Organizations noticed me, and I embarked on a philanthropic journey splashing my authenticity. My art could soothe, heal, bring a smile in disbelief and value to this world!

Congratulations to my student Harsheta 8th Grade! Her work titled ‘Octopus’ was selected for inclusion into the 2022 National Art Honor Society’s Juried exhibit from a big pool of students.
Harsheta's artist statement-Pointillism is a unique kind of artwork that only uses dots to create a drawing. When I started my drawing I wanted to draw an octopus because I could experiment with the shape of their tentacles. Then I decided to add some more animals like a sea turtle and some fishes, but I also wanted to make the fishes have tentacles for an unrealistic twist. After finishing my sketch, I started to use a thin marker for the pointillism making the dots closer together when there was a darker shade and having them far apart when they had a lighter shade.

Great Work! My student Shalini’s, 7th grade, a starry night-inspired piece by Van Gogh. The close attention to detail is uniquely pictured throughout this entire piece.

Postponed due to health concerns of rising covid 19 cases in MA and the emergence of the new variant. Information about the new date will be updated!

Saheli Board regrets to inform you of the postponement of Saheli’s upcoming event ‘The Art Affair' scheduled for December 5th at 3.00 pm. Information about the new date will be forthcoming.

For Saheli, the safety and well-being of the community is very important. The increase in Covid-19 cases in Massachusetts and the uncertainties around the emerging variants of the pandemic has led us to make the decision to postpone the Dec 5th Art Affair event. This is also due to many calls/ concerns from the public & ticket holders about the safety/health risks of holding an indoor event with a large number of people, in light of the new variant which has prompted travel bans and other such precautionary measures. As you may be aware, The Art Affair event was going to be our largest fundraiser to support critical services to survivors of domestic violence. The fact that you bought tickets for this event, shows your commitment to our mission and Saheli’s work.

Saheli team will be in touch with the ticket holders for refund options.

Please feel free to email Neelam Wali at [email protected], or Ruchika Yadav at [email protected] with any questions or concerns.

"Toutes Mes Femm"-Attempting to render the various vicarious emotions of Dali and his women through my latest work titled "Toutes Mes Femm"-(all my women). For Dali, the woman’s body was a favorite subject and he rendered the form with many different representations and meanings over the course of his creative revolution. For me, it's all about rendering five emotions, Anger, Sadness, Fear, Joy, and Love.. Salvador Dali was a natural-born artistic genius whose body of work continuously changed during his life in the 2oth century.
