For this month's donor spotlight, we would like to recognize International African American Museum. They hosted a school supply drive during the month of December. Thanks to their efforts, we received thousands of items and over $2,500 to support Charleston County School District teachers!

It’s still and we’d like to take this time to celebrate our leading women at Teachers' Supply Closet: Board Chair, Michelle Orr Noisette and Executive Director, Lynette Verdell Duggins. Board of Directors | Teachers' Supply Closet Teachers' Supply Closet, its volunteers, sponsors, and board members are part of that village contributing to the academic and social development of students in the schools of the Tri-County area by providing school supplies.

The SCRA team volunteered at Teachers' Supply Closet(TSC) yesterday. To date TSC has served over 10K+ teachers and 250K+ students. TSC has also distributed over $7M to eligible teachers at qualified Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester schools. Thank you for all you do for the community Teachers' Supply Closet!

ABOUT LAST WEEK: Charles Gainer, District Manager came by TSC to give our tri-county teachers some love. He delivered 316 ($20.00) school supplies cards with a total value of $6,320.00. The funds were raised during their 2020 Tools for Schools Campaign in local Publix stores. Thanks, Publix for our partnership.

ABOUT TODAY: The Kiwanis Club of Charleston came by today to show TSC some love. President Neil Oliver brought a basket truck of Back to School supplies that was given by the membership during the month of August. We are getting ready for the first day of shopping on September 15th. 🍎🤩💚
