🍂 Goodbye, Fall Forest School 🍎
As the leaves fall and the forest grows quiet, we say goodbye to another beautiful season of learning, laughter, and adventure.
These little explorers have climbed, crafted, imagined, and grown in ways only nature can teach. Their joy, curiosity, and wonder made every chilly morning worth it.
We wrapped up our fall session with a cozy rainstorm and some homemade trail mix for our next adventure.
Here’s to slowing down, soaking in the season, and carrying the lessons of the forest with us into winter. 🌲✨

🍎 Forest School Cider Recipe below 👇
• 1 gallon of fresh apple cider
• Cut up oranges, apples, and lemons(as many as you want)
• Fresh cranberries(as many as you want)
• Two pinches of Nutmeg
• Cinnamon sticks
• A pinch of allspice
• Whole cloves stuck into the apple slices
Put in a slow cooker, on the stove on low, or over a winter fire and ENJOY!

Come visit one next Saturday right here at home! Enjoy some hot chocolate, live christmas polka music (performed by children) and get some Christmas shopping done while supporting some of our local homeschool kiddos!!! Stop and say hello to some of our forest school children while you’re out!

Just a reminder we will have a break next week. So there will be no Forest School Monday or Friday. It’s time to go explore the Forest on your own and we will all be back together again to share adventures on Monday, October 13, 2025!

Monday we made a nature mandala! 🍁✨ We gathered leaves, sticks, acorns, and rocks — then worked together to make a big circle full of colors and patterns. We learned that shapes and symmetry aren’t just in math books… they’re all around us in nature! 🌿 Each petal, pinecone, and pebble found its special place.
It reminded us that nature loves patterns and when we slow down and look closely, we can see the same shapes and balance in flowers, snowflakes, and even stars. 🌸🌼🌟
The forest really is our favorite classroom!🌳💚

One of the biggest questions from kids (and parents) is: “But… where’s the bathroom?”
Out here we’ve got 50 acres of forest AND our trusty Pine Pot to keep explorers comfortable.
