The Hazmat First Responder Operations Responder course is for workers involved in emergency response at the operations level.
First responders at the operations level are members who respond to emergency situations where a release or a potential releases of hazardous materials as part of the initial response with the purpose of protecting nearby persons, property, or the environment from the effects of the release.
24 hours of HazMat Operations Level Training
consistent with federal OSHA regulations at 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(ii)

First introduced in the early 90’s. the Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) courses for ambulance, fire and police personnel quickly became accepted as standards in driver training for these fields. Since then, over 500,000 emergency professionals have been trained with the CEVO programs.
You will receive: 5.00 points
AHA BCLS CPR
You will receive: 5.00 points
Candidates wishing to apply to become FDNY EMT’s will receive 15.00 additional points on their application/exam. This course will meet the requirements listed in the DCAS Notice of Examination.
HazMat Training must be successfully completed by the last day of the application period. HazMat Training must be to the Operations Level. you will not receive credit for entry-level training.
