We are excited to announce that this winter we will be co-hosting a class with the Brooklyn Museum! Tour the special exhibition Solid Gold with the exhibition curator Matthew Yokobosky, and learn about the element’s symbolism across mediums. After lunch, participants will regroup at BKMW for a three hour workshop led by Erin Daily. Using artists such as Agnes Martin, Titus Kaphar, or Gordon Hart who build up surface patterns using gold leaf as a reference, students will then create wearable pendants that use similar techniques of gold foil on sheet silver or copper. 🏆⚜️👑⚱️✨

The workshop will take place on February 28th, from 11-4:30. Learn more on our website!
