One of the biggest roadblocks for people needing cancer treatment can be the lack of transportation. That’s why the American Cancer Society Road To Recovery® program provides free rides to treatment through volunteer drivers. After pausing Road To Recovery because of the pandemic, we are getting back on the road. We are also providing transportation funding directly to hospitals throughout New England.

Starting today we are inviting Relay communities across New England to raise an additional $45,000 by Sunday, June 5 to fund the American Cancer Society’s mission. It’s a big goal, but we set the bar high because cancer didn’t stop during the pandemic.
