Hi Everyone !!
I'm getting a lot of visits to this page and I apologize that I haven't been here. Let me explain. In past years I've been able to teach and invite those who are experiencing a moment in their lives where they are feeling a shift in what's important to them. I make space for them to make sense of where and how they got to this moment. So when you work with me I show you how to let go of judging yourself and observe instead- as if you are watching a movie.
During the course we start with as far back as you can remember and from there to this moment. I know it sounds impossible but the system works divinely. I have always worked face to face and/or in a group but considering ....I am in the process of learning myself - how to teach online.
So if that sounds like something you would like to experience send me an email at [email protected] and in the subject type "I'm Interested" and leave your message and if you would like a free 15 min. consult let me know. It's a good way to see if it's a fit. No pressure I also have freebies (lessons) as well so you can get a taste of how I work. Thank you for your interest and I'm working hard to get the tech part down.
Take Courage Because Human Nature is Divine
Don't let what is showing up in the world today break you down. Remember who you are.
It may be that you have been absorbed and haven’t missed my erratic pattern of posting. First and foremost I can’t explain my absence from facebook other than this.
It’s December -do something different.
Relax, Rejuvenate and Re-create Yourself
Are you limiting your experiences by seeing through the eyes of past experience? That’s pretty normal. Our minds tend to take a short cut back to a familiar situation. It’s faster than having to evaluate, question and speculate. Just for fun - bring your sense of humor to this exercise.
Give an example of a message you repeat to yourself that was passed down to you. We all have this experience for sure.
How did you protect yourself?
How do you presently protect yourself?
What is your biggest fear around this issue?
What is the message that needs to change?
How would that change your approach to life?
This time of year can be either hectic, or a time for reflection. I find it calming having given up the bells and whistles. It's a perfect time to go inward, review your year with gratitude and listen to your souls needs and wants. As the days become cooler find a cozy place to tap into your divine self.
“Let go of your mind and then be mindful. Close your ears and listen!”
– Jalaluddin Rumi
Our minds are not who we are, The mind itself can easily carry us away to Neverland, or hypnotize us leaving us half-conscious. Our soul asks only that we stretch and experience life to it’s fullest. That is the gift of the Divine.
Welcome to Into the Tangled Garden which is your garden as well. It's a place where you can be who you are and express yourself freely.

Wow! Here we are heading into September. My apology for stepping back and being uncommunicative. I'm pretty certain you have enjoyed the beauty and warmth of summer and all the spontaneity that comes with it. As for me, life presented many opportunities over the last few months - all of which demanded focus. It called upon me to discipline myself in order to stay on task. Now, I'm learning how to incorporate and integrate all the things I love. And what I love doing most is sharing the good life with others. Here's what's coming up.

A post from the Daily Compass
It can be tempting to honor those who have died in military service by glamorizing the cause that they served, giving meaning to grief by casting a rosy glow of heroism over the loss. But the lives lost were precious and beloved because who they were, regardless of the cause they served. Combatants on both sides, civilians, everyone who has died in military conflict deserves our mourning and our prayers for peace.
Who do you mourn this Memorial Day?
[05/09/16] To see our lives and our souls we must commit to looking at our lives as though each and every quality, person and circumstance has been drawn to us in order to give us specific insights and wisdom.
If Not Us, Then Who?
Anyone who knows me knows I am an avid student of history, in particular military history. I have studied wars all my life. I have a particular interest in American history and World Wars I and II. One thing I have come to believe is this: History does indeed repeat itself. There’s really no mystery behind that continuing cycle. It’s simple. Human beings continually make the same mistakes. Like the wise adage reads: He who does not learn from history is destined to repeat it.
Part of the charm of history for me is imagining what it would have been like to live at certain times. I would have loved to know what the court of Henry VIII was really like, save for being one of his unfortunate six wives. Other times in history cause one to ask significant questions, such as, “What would I have done had I lived in Germany during the rise of Hi**er? Would I have spoken out against that Fascist maniac or would I have become a part of the silent majority, afraid to say anything lest I get criticized for my opinions? Or worse, hauled off to a concentration camp?”
I have no idea, really. I would like to think that I would have been one of the brave people who spoke out against the evil erupting with the rise of Fascism. I have looked back at that time so often and held dark judgments against the German people, believing them to be everything from cowards to participants in the growing cult of evil madness that Hi**er so carefully and cleverly manipulated. He was a genius – a dark, brilliant, genius – who knew exactly how to engage the worst aspects of humanity: bigotry, racism, fear of the outside world, the need to be a superior race, the need to rule others, the need to be great again. He knew exactly how to make promises he never intended to keep and who to blame when his many promises never came to fruition. He would blame an ethnic group for all the social violence that he and his demonic army choreographed – a perfect enemy. And once this perfect ethnic enemy had been identified, then part two of his evil plan would eventually be initiated: The Holocaust.
History does indeed repeat itself and though I did not anticipate witnessing the rise of a new Hi**er in this country, nothing surprises me after the Bush/Cheney administration. We are now living in the age of the unthinkable. I could sit back and say nothing but I will not do that. I refuse.
Last night a riot took place in my city, Chicago. Donald Trump was supposed to speak at a rally but he did not show up because the place went up for grabs. According to him, the thugs took over. His horrid rhetoric about beating people up and encouraging brutality – his Hi**er-like posturing about beating people who don’t agree with him and silencing the media – has nothing to do with these outbursts, of course. He has mastered the clever art of double-speak. Nothing is his fault. And all the while, his thugs are everywhere, encouraging violence in the psychic field. He finds violence flattering; it’s a show of support, a toxic form of adoration. Hi**er loved that, too.
Like Hi**er, Trump twists things around with the skill of an adept shape-shifter. Now the riots are the fault of supporters of Bernie Sanders, according to Trump’s people. Pretending to be all for freedom, he promises to build walls to keep people out in a nation long honored for freedom and welcoming people in. None of his cult followers realize that they are being tricked into negotiating their own freedom. He wants to ban all Muslims “until we can figure out what’s going on.” Really? All the while he’s spewing this venom, he of course fails to share he does business with Muslims in Dubai and other places. And when has he ever cared about the middle or lower income class in this country? He finds that type of person contemptible except as an employee in his kitchen at the Trump Towers or casino.
Trump is very fond of his bodyguards, his self-styled Brown Shirts who have immediately locked into that archetype. He loves giving them permission to push people around at his rallies. Likewise, the N**i Brown Shirts loved the power Hi**er gave them to bully and abuse first their own fellow Germans and then people of every nation the N**is invaded.
But let us recognize that we are living in the age of the Bully, are we not? Has not bullying become a social disease, perhaps one of the worst of our time? Is bullying not one of the major reasons for teen-aged suicides? And I have no doubt those adults who were bullied as children continue the cycle as abusive employers, parents, and lovers of gun-based occupations. Bullies crave power over others through intimidation, and nothing intimidates like guns and uniforms and authority. People love Trump because they identify with being bullied by the government. That’s the main psychic artery he hit and he is not letting go.
Trump is the embodiment of modern day Fascism, if not the embodiment of Hi**er. He is a serial liar and further, he knows absolutely nothing about how the government works. He is dangerous.
I have no idea how much of the cycle of history from the 1930’s will continue to filter into the events of our day. That depends on whether people wake up, but we are now rioting in the streets. Racism and hatred for people, for journalists and the right of assembly is something Trump and his crew find threatening – threatening!!! He requires his followers to pledge their loyalty in a mock salute with an extended right arm and then claims he is only joking. Really? This is how evil finds its way into the blood and bones of our lives – we deny what it looks like in small and clever doses. And we tell ourselves, “No, this can’t happen here. Not in the great and free US of A.”
Well, look alive, America. It is happening here.

"Create More Loving Kindness in the World"
by Carol Coronis
Does it seem like the whole world is out of control?
Or should I say, is the human population teetering on the brink of insanity? If we watch the broadcasts, we see violence and upheaval everywhere - a sure sign something is wrong. Humanity is in pain. The love of power is stronger than the power of love.
Our children’s lives are at stake.
Crisis Relief International cried out for prayers on Nov. 24. I cried when I saw this message in my inbox:
"We lost the city of Queragosh. It fell to ISIS and they are beheading children systematically. The UN evacuated its staff in Erbil. Our team is unmoved and will stay. Prayer cover needed!”
In our own country, unarmed children are routinely being killed by bullets, shot by adults paid to protect the community. They are our black children. Let’s admit to our shadow, America. When we fail to face the the shadow, it erupts as increasing hate, racism, separation, and greed.
We must stop denying these forces exist. We mouths the words liberty and freedom for all, but do we mean it? Odds are any conversation with our white friends about injustice in society might begin with “well…” and end with someone thinking they are being attacked. What about the real victims?
I understand that policing is a challenging profession, yet these occurrences in the past few years are beginning to challenge our sensibilities about who or what is really the threat.
Please read on. There is hope. You can be a part of creating love and peace.
First, we must know what to set our intentions on. It’s hard because there are so many issues.
United Nations' 2014 Global Report on Trafficking in Persons found one in three human trafficking victims is a child. Most victims are female, and traffickers operate with little fear of prosecution. Studies shows that trafficking has increasingly become a problem around the world.
The US is one of the top destinations for trafficking children for commercial s*xual exploitation. Just watch the documentary Playground. 300,000 children in the United States are at risk of being trafficked into the s*x trade each year. Police and prosecutors often respond by arresting the victims — the kids — rather than the pimps.
Sexual assault on college campuses is now on everyone’s radar. The allegations of gang r**e at UVA are just an example of the way we as a culture inadvertently encourage and are co-conspirators to the victimization of others when we do nothing at all. In the last 16 years 183 students were expelled from the university for Honors offenses like: lying, cheating, and stealing. But in the history of the school (open since 1819) no student has ever been expelled for a s*xual assault when this crime is becoming an epidemic on university campuses.
We are failing to teach our children s*xual respect. We are failing to protect both women and men from violations of the most intimate degrees. Our inaction is allowing all of these tragedies to become a cultural pandemic, leaving victims confused and cloaked in shame, and perpetrators unaware of the damage they cause.
Why is it that criminals have little fear of prosecution for the most serious offenses?
Violet crime was not responsible for the quadrupling of the incarcerated population in the United States from 1980 - 2003. There are increasingly more people of color in prison for possession of ma*****na. Ma*****na - a recreational drug widely used by people of all classes, also for medicine. Our so-called “legal drug” - alcohol - is far more dangerous both to abusers as well as their victims: spouses, children and innocent people passing by.
The NRA wants guns to be legal in bars. This is more nonsense! This type of thinking is mental illness. We must recognize it for what it is. Because when those people gain power - because we fail to vote or spread awareness - it creates mayhem. These people are insecure, arming themselves to feel brave.
Why are we so afraid, so angry?
Why do so many feel insecure, angry, and threatened by skin color, diversity, or feel compelled to take the life of other men, women, and children who worship in a different way to the same God figure? Why do we continue to commit the sins of our fathers? These are unconscious choices for the most part but often consciously made.
Why is it those people end up making decisions on our behalf as our leaders?
Why are we so backward in our pursuit to promote freedom + liberty for all?
Diagnosis: Heart Failure
I want to get your attention because there is something we can do from the comfort of our homes.
But do we care?
What can we do in a run-away world?
It’s not difficult.
Create more love and peace in the world through loving kindness.
It’s not a feeling. It is a practice and an attitude of generosity and compassion toward yourself, to all others, and to the Earth.
We can start by meditating on images, beautiful poetry, prayers, and blessings.
Loving Kindness is a cultivated mental state.
Here are five steps from "Loving Kindness Meditation” by Bill Scheffel of Naropa University.
Love yourself - You must first extend compassion, love and generosity to yourself. (Just do it.)
Love your friends - Meditate on what you love about them. (Sweet.)
Love a neutral person - Send good wishes to the mailman or the checkout clerk. (This feels really good.)
Love an enemy - Release the desire for blame and revenge and pray for them as well. (Yes, you can. Try it. You will feel better.)
Love the world - Extend your loving kindness to the universe.
Remember, we are not helpless. We have immense powers to send healing energy into our world, to people both near and far. We can change the world by realizing our inner strength.
