On our last day, campers traveled to Peru where they learned all about llamas & alpacas, Machu Picchu, Nazca lines and weaving. They practiced their Spanish numbers, greetings and even the Padre Nuestro (Our Father). They were reminded of the importance of talking to their Heavenly Father who loves them. Campers enjoyed all of the beautiful Peruvian artifacts and the presentation by our guest speaker Enrique Hurtado. They played an ancient Incan game that was a cross between soccer and basketball and tried giant Incan corn as a snack.

Last night our Varsity Crusaders played for the championship against undefeated Moultrie. In overtime, the Crusaders blocked the extra point attempt by Moultrie to take home the win 13-12. It was an exciting game and well earned achievement for these 8th graders. All of their hard work and determination brought them success. Be proud of your Crusaders!
