Meet Joshika, a 10-year-old Kumon Student who launched her own company in 2019. Joshika's Jewels for Joy sells handcrafted jewels and donates the profits to a variety of charities.
Joshika was recognized as the youngest recipient of The Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky “17 under Seventeen Awards 2021” which recognizes those who are working hard to make a difference in the community. Thank you to our Kumon families for contributing to the 2022 Kumon Book Drive! Over 10,000 books were collected across the U.S. and Canada. Participating Kumon Centers selected a donation recipient such as a local hospital, school, or non-profit organization.

From student to employee to franchisee, Hannah has experienced Kumon at every level. As a student, Hannah struggled with learning disabilities such as ADHD and dyslexia. Thanks to Kumon, however, she was able to get two years ahead of her class. Today, she is a Kumon Center owner, making a difference in the lives of other students.
