3 to 3 School

3 to 3 School is the first Montessori homeschooling company for children ages 3 months to 3 years.

3 to 3 School's mission is to provide a unique learning experience within the walls of home. Our goal is to increase brain functioning during the most active period of brain development, ages 3 months to 3 years. Through observation of children's needs and interests, an at-home classroom is prepared to maximize learning potential. Complete with materials called "work," the classroom empowers children to teach themselves. By promoting freedom and independence, 3 to 3 School creates an educational experience that impacts a life time. 3 to 3 school pays special attention to language development, the most critical cornerstone for the age group. By using a combination of sign language, Spanish, and English, we are not only opens new lines of communication, but also significantly improve brain functioning. There is no limit to a child’s capabilities if only given the opportunity to exercise them. During the first years of life, the brain is the most active it will ever be, yet education designed for the age group is scarce. 3 to 3 School provides education when needed most, yet given the least. After all, there are no babies, only little people.

Mission: To provide education when needed the most, yet given the least: ages 3 months to 3 years.

General information

3 to 3 School presents the first of its kind: a homeschooling program designed for the youngest of students. Practically from birth, 3 to 3 School combines proven methods and novel practices to ensure maximum education during the most sensitive period of brain development. Within the comfort of each student’s home, 3 to 3 School conducts tailored lessons that impact a lifetime. The Classroom: The classroom is a space in the home dedicated to schooling. 3 to 3 School builds each home classroom according to the needs and interests of each child. No two classrooms are the same, but all include child-sized tables, chairs and shelves. The eye-level shelves contain “work,” not “toys,” A work is a set of educational materials. Children absorb different lessons by manipulating these materials. The Languages: 3 to 3 School puts an emphasis on language development, believing language is the master educational tool for age group. During the first three years of life, the capacity for language is infinite. 3 to 3 School takes advantage of this time to push the limits of language comprehension. We use portions of sign language and Spanish along with English to increase vocabulary and heighten communication abilities. The use of multiple languages does not confuse children, but strengthens their overall cognitive skills. Not only does the 3 to 3 School language program cultivate the mind, it has invaluable practical benefits. Improved communication directly impacts home life, reducing language frustration and strengthening bonds between parents and children who understand each other. Well-understood children are happier and cry less. The ability to effectively communicate lessens the need to cry, relieving stress in both parent and child. The Method: While 3 to 3 School follows general Montessori guidelines, the Montessori Method is just one of many educational approaches 3 to 3 School incorporates. Our program is also influenced by philosophies such as R.I.E. and theorists like Jean Piaget. Most importantly, 3 to 3 School’s educational path is paved by the experiences and discoveries of our founder, Cassidy Giles. The Preparation: The 3 to 3 School provides the perfect preparation for later schooling. The program familiarizes children with classroom behaviors and expectations while teaching children what it means to work and learn. 3 to 3 School offers sensory activities that develop fine and gross motor skills as well as problem-solving abilities. We engage in science and nature exploration along with hands-on creative activities. Children participate in counting, sorting, and matching to develop early math and critical thinking skills. Our practical life activities encourage independence and self-care. Likewise, preschools touch on the same subjects, making 3 to 3 School the perfect foundation for future learning. While 3 to 3 School does encompass all educational areas of preschools, we do not stop there. 3 to 3 School covers topics that go beyond the norm for such young children.
