The spooky month is here, come celebrate Halloween with International Buddy Program (IBP) on October 21 THIS WEEK! You will get to join multiple small contests and group relay games to win candies (Trick-or-Treat buckets are provided on a first-come, first-served basis), snap a photo in front of our Halloween photo booth, and share horror stories from your own country. Frank & Andrea Pizza and breadsticks are provided for everyone to enjoy, so come hungry!!

This event is open to all undergraduate students, and you do not need to be part of IBP already to join this event. Hope to see you there in your best costume! 🎃

Do you want to get in contact with other international students? Do you want to make friends from all over the world? Join us now! The International Buddy Program, also called IBP, is a mentorship program that pairs up new international underwear students who will be studying while in Minnesota for the first time with returning international or domestic students.🤩

Mentors and buddies will meet during the semester to help ease the transition to the university.

Any new and non-degree undergraduate students who have not previously studied on campus can apply to be buddies, and all continuing undergraduate students who have studied at least one semester while on campus can apply to be mentors👏🏼.

The application deadline is August 7th, so do not wait too long to apply!

IBP is hiring a Treasurer!🤩

The International Buddy Program is seeking a Treasurer. The position would be for the 2022-2023 academic year, but we are hoping to have the selected candidate train with the outgoing treasurer for a couple of weeks before the end of Spring 2022 semester. This person will receive a Culture Corps scholarship.

The International Buddy Program is FREE, FUN, and held each semester. We can only accept a limited number of students, so do not wait too long to apply!
Buddies
For Spring 2022, any new undergraduate and non-degree students who have not previously studied on campus can apply to be buddies. This includes:
● All first-year undergraduate and non-degree students who have not applied during the fall semester, whether you are studying in the U.S. or in your home country
● Second-year students who have not applied during the fall semester, who are coming to the U.S. for the first time or are continuing to study in your home country

Mentors
For Spring 2022, all continuing students who have studied at least one
semester while on campus can apply to be mentors.
