Today we honored all those who labor hard by performing Hotshots 19. As is the case with any hero WOD, the mental challenge can be just as tough as the physical one, especially when it’s a very long workout, and on a day that hit 90 degrees! But more impressive than the individual performances was the display of camaraderie shown by the members who, WELL AFTER the time cap had expired, stayed around to help me on the last run and cheer me through the finish line. You can get a good workout anywhere, but this only happens with CrossFit. Thanks to all for being part of the NEWF family and helping me out!


This past Saturday, CrossFit NewFound celebrated 1️⃣0️⃣whole years of being in business! Along with our celebration, we hosted our first in-house competition! Man, was it a success!!

We are so thankful for every member and drop-in that has come through our doors throughout the years. We can’t wait to celebrate 10 more years with you! Thank you💙💛

Once again CrossFit NewFound will be hosting a food drive for the Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center. The CFBOC was established in 2010 as a faith-based nonprofit with the desire to feed and empower those in need within our community. Many in our area fall between the cracks of aid offered through county-based programs and other organizations. This reality birthed the need for additional efforts to curve food insecurities for our kids, families, individuals, and seniors. CFBOC believes that no one should go hungry and is committed to fighting hunger in our community.
Beginning today and continuing until Saturday 4th we will be accepting canned, boxed, or bagged non-perishable food items. If you are in the area, please consider dropping by and donating an item or two. While you’re here, get a FREE workout on us as a thank you!

Functional movements establish competent independence

• Aging is inevitable, but we can age well, and we can maintain if not build strength as we get older, we can re-claim movements we haven't done for a while if we get our bodies moving.
This morning, during our legends sessions, 2 of our ladies told us of their recent successes outside of the gym -
Jan 82yrs old,(pictured in the blue shirt) hung her washing on the line for the FIRST time in 12 YEARS!!!!! and Shirley K 75yrs old (who has only been training with us for 3 weeks) managed to get down to the ground and back up again in the garden in a squat position - something she thought her knees and hips would never let her do again.
These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do. Super proud of our Legends and the consistent hard work they are putting in. Staying functional and independent.

A testament to hard work and perseverance. Coach Kim is officially checked in to the IWF World Championships and ready to rock it tomorrow morning!!


The Marine Toys for Tots Program has been delivering a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters since 1947. Once again CrossFit Newfound has teamed up with Long and Foster (Harbor Point) to be an official drop-off location. Stop by and bring in a new, unwrapped toy until Dec 15th and get a free workout on us. Not only will you make Christmas a little more special for a child, but you will feel better too.


Hard work both in and out of the gym pays off. Just ask our member Logan Toney who hit his goal of losing 100lbs!! To help celebrate this tremendous accomplishment, we are performing a special workout this Saturday, 11/19/22 at 9am: the LOGAN100. This is a partner workout and open to all members, friends and family. So come join us and see for yourself what is possible when you have a community and coaches all in your corner and start your own journey towards NewFound Strength, NewFound Fitness, NewFound Confidence and NewFound Health!!
