In only four days campers made a rainbow pillow, pillowcase, journal cover, boxer shorts, and laminated pencil pouch. They were a very productive and fun group!!! There is one more camp session....

The heat this week is a sure sign that summer is just around the corner. A lot has been going on in the studio lately!!!
First, Laughing Llama Studio now sells fabric by the yard! Yay!!! That means no more trips to Joann’s after class to buy supplies because you are so excited to make the project again from home. We sell some really fun and very comfortable wovens and knits from Cotton and Steel, Art Gallery Fabrics, and Tilda’s World. We also sell the Eversewn Sparrow sewing machines that we use in the studio.
Next up, I have added new classes for kids and adults with projects to help you get ready for summer...pool bags, coverups, headbands, and more. All classes are open to beginners as well as experienced sewists.
I saved the best for last...CAMPS!!! You can now register for one or more of our summer camps. Each session will be four consecutive days of nonstop maker fun! Space is limited so check it out before they fill up. I will be adding a few more specifically for teens, so stay tuned!

Hi All,
When is this Winter going to end? I have so many Spring things to make on my sewing table but keep going back to coats and sweaters because of the weather. In the Spring, which I am saying starts April 1st, I will be offering several Adult Introduction to Machine Sewing Workshops and then a couple of series. One will be a three part introduction to Garment sewing and the other a three part series focused more on home items and gifts. I will have the usual Kids Introduction to Machine Sewing classes plus a few fun workshops.
I am considering adding a garment sewing series focused on men's garment sewing and possibly another focused on sewing for your children or grandchildren. If anyone is interested please let me know.

We have been sewing our way through these rainy, wintery days here at Laughing Llama Studio. There is no better way to get over the winter blues than by sewing up some awesome things for Spring and Summer. Keep an eye out for new beginner level sewing classes for both kids and adults. We are also creating a couple of series classes for adults. One will be an apparel series for those who are interested in making their own clothes using Indie patterns. The other will focus on making gifts because with Spring comes Mother's Day, graduations, babies, and weddings. Hope to see you in the Studio!
