In Montessori education, children are introduced to letters in a hands-on, sensory way through the use of sandpaper letters.

Children build a strong connection between the letter’s shape and sound by tracing textured lowercase letters with their fingers while saying their sounds aloud. This hands-on, multisensory approach helps strengthen phonemic awareness and develops muscle memory, preparing them for reading and writing and setting a solid foundation for future literacy.

Emotional literacy is one avenue for preschoolers to start developing their social and emotional skills.

Through activities like storytelling and role-playing, children learn to identify and express their emotions effectively.

With our small student-to-teacher ratio, our educators are able to prioritize each child's social-emotional learning, as they equip each student with the tools to manage their emotions and build positive relationships.
