Degrees of Freedom, Desert WAVE, and Si Se Puede Foundation BinaryBots Team 5465 stand with the Black and African American communities in the movement for equality. We offer our condolences to the families of George Floyd and the victims of systemic racism in our country. In addition to the tragic loss of human life, the STEM community and America are deprived of valuable input when diversity is not protected and valued. We will listen, educate ourselves, and bridge the gaps within our own communities. We also want to reach out to the community to ask: In what ways can our teams promote conversation and be a force for lasting, positive change?
